Conference Theme: “Forest Stewardship by Communities: Contributions, Benefits and Future Prospects”
This conference will be hosted by RDB in collaboration with tourism and Conservation Partners.
The Conservation Conference will bring together regional environmentalists and conservationists to share experiences and future plans in the conservation of the biodiversity through the involvement of community living around protected areas.
Participant to the Conference will be from different country (Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, DRC, Burundi and Gorilla range states).
The conference will demonstrate willingness and ability to play a consistent role in poverty alleviation around Parks as tools of sustainable conservation strategy.
